Where can you get medical assistant CEUs?

The American Association of Medical Assistants allows students to earn continuing education units through online study in its e-learning center. Additionally, CEUs can be earned through coursework at local colleges, conferences and seminars. The AAMA accepts these CEUs with proof of attendance.

The AAMA website offers many options for obtaining CEUs. In its e-learning center, students can earn CEUs by completing online activities and taking tests covering the material learned. Certified medical assistants can earn recertification points. The AAMA also offers self-study courses and a magazine with continuing education articles and tests. State and local AAMA chapters offer continuing education workshops.
