Where in the US can a midnight blooming cereus be found?

The night blooming cereus, a member of the cactus family, is native to the Sonoran and Chihuahuan deserts of southern Arizona, western Texas and northern Mexico. In the wild, it lives in desert flats and washes between 3,000 and 5,000 feet, often in the shade of desert shrubs.
The night blooming cereus is difficult to find in the wild since most of the time it resembles a dead bush. However, on one midsummer's night each year, a beautifully scented flower blooms as night falls, opens fully by midnight, then closes and withers at daybreak.
This cactus is also popular as a houseplant in the United States. Customers can purchase night blooming cereus through online retailers such as Amazon and Logee's.
