MLS, or multiple listing service, real estate listings can be found directly on the MLS website. MLS information is also available on realtor websites. The MLS information provided on realtor websites are limited and controlled by the National Association of Realtors in the United States.

Many realtors have an option for MLS searches directly on their websites. This allows people who have access to or have been provided a listing number for a home or property to look it up directly instead of having to go through the traditional search methods on most real estate websites. Each state has its own MLS information, although some states may carry information for neighboring states and areas as well.
