Morningstar stock quotes are available on investors' smartphones through the investment research firm's downloadable iPhone and Android applications. The applications are free to download from the App Store and Google Play, respectively.

Both versions of the Morningstar cellular applications allow viewing of customizable Morningstar.com watchlists and portfolios as well as real-time stock quotes and historical performance charts. The applications feature Morningstar analyst research, news and commentary, including the Morningstar Market Barometer, which lets users get a quick overview of the current state of the U.S. market. It also lists other major global market index conditions through performance charts and frequently updated tickers.
