Among the several websites devoted to cataloging the Garbage Pail Kids, GPKWorld.com and GeePeeKay.com are two of the most comprehensive as of 2015. Both feature compete listings for all of the original series and the subsequent revival sets.

Introduced in 1985, the Garbage Pail Kids trading cards were a satirical response to the Cabbage Patch Kids phenomenon. The cards featured grotesque imitations of the cherub-faced dolls. The first series consisted of 88 total cards of 82 different characters with six variants. A strong collector's market exists for the cards. The most valuable pieces are uncirculated prototypes, special variations, unopened products and foreign versions.
