Tax estimators ask you about your tax situation, including details about your marital status, the number of dependents you can claim, your income and types of eligible credits. Based on the information you provide, your tax refund, if any, is calculated. The estimators do not provide tax advice and cannot judge whether your information is accurate. They do not store the answer and do not transmit anything to the Internal Revenue Service.
