How can I find out my next court date?

Court dates appear on the court summons, which arrives by mail. If this summons is missing, call the court in which you are to appear, ask your lawyer, or search online at the website maintained by the court's jurisdiction, if any, says The Law Dictionary.
If you do not remember which court summoned you, contact the clerk at the city, county, state or federal courts for the area in which the legal issue developed. Alternatively, consult the websites for these jurisdictions. Search these sites by case number if you have it. If not, search with your name, notes The Law Dictionary.
