The School Superintendents Association lists registered superintendent members who held offices in the past or currently hold office as a Superintendent. These listings are arranged by state and county.

In addition to the School Superintendents Association, listings for former Superintendents are available through state and county records or school boards. This information is open to the public and may be held at the county school board office or with the state Department of Education. Listings may be referenced by year, school district, county, state, and name. Schools may also have a record of the past Superintendents as part of the schools historical records.
