Can you pay City of Los Angeles parking tickets online?

The city of Los Angeles does allow drivers to pay parking tickets online. The user needs the parking ticket and a Visa or MasterCard credit card to pay the violation online. A $2 processing fee applies to online payments as of 2015.

The user enters the ticket number on the first screen of the online payment system to initiate the transaction. If the ticket number is unknown, call the Parking Violations Bureau at 866-561-9742, and provide the license plate number. After clicking the Submit button, the user goes to the credit card screen where she securely enters her credit card information. A confirmation page shows that the violation was successfully paid online.
