Where can you find photographs of money?

Photographs of money can be found for purchase at Shutterstock. Free photos of money can be found on a number of sites, including Google image search and through Wikimedia Commons. All three services offer photos of money from different countries with different currency values.

Shutterstock provides an easy search option for money that displays the results as images based on search category. These images are linked to downloadable versions that are often available in multiple resolutions. Once a resolution is chosen and the download button is pressed, a pricing list is presented to the user. Prices for photos vary, with two images downloadable for $29 and 750 images available for $249 a month in 2015.

Both Google image search and Wikimedia Commons offer a wide range of money images for free. These images are made available through the Creative Commons licensing agreement. Creative Commons licensing allows downloaders to incorporate available images into their own works. These works can then be used commercially, or shared freely with others using the same Creative Commons licensing. The choice to share freely or to use the photos commercially is enforced by the original photographer. Attribution of all Creative Commons work is also required to license the photos.
