Can you pull some clothes out of a washer/dryer combo before the drying cycle starts?

A combination washer/dryer appliance offers the capability to pull certain articles out of the machine after they are washed and before the dryer cycle begins. This feature is especially important for those who prefer not to dry particular items.

Since the combination washer/dryer appliance does not use heat to dry the laundry load, the time needed for drying is longer than with the standard dryer, and clothes are more likely to come out wrinkled. Removing certain articles before the dryer cycle is an option in this case. Since heat is not utilized in the process, however, clothes are less likely to shrink in the laundry combo.
