Can you put CorningWare in the oven?

CorningWare is safe for traditional oven use. It can also be placed in preheated convection ovens and in microwave ovens. Glass-ceramic CorningWare dishes are also suitable for range top use.

CorningWare dishes can be refrigerated or frozen and can be safely transferred directly from the refrigerator or freezer to the traditional, convection or microwave oven. CorningWare stoneware and ovenware is not recommended for broiler or stove top use, as both environments get too hot, potentially causing the dishes to break. CorningWare serving pieces, bowls, plates, ovenware and cookware have been kitchen staples in America since they were introduced in 1958.
