Visitors can take Accelerated Reader skills quizzes on Rennaissance.com and BookAdventure.org. These quizzes give parents and teachers a general idea of young readers' skills through short tests taken online using a computer or mobile device.

Both sites provide texts for students to read followed by a series of multiple choice questions about the content of the reading passage. The quizzes on Book Adventure test comprehension of material in the books available on the site for students in kindergarten through eighth grade. Renaissance offers several sample quizzes on reading comprehension, vocabulary and critical thinking about a text. Quizzes are available in English and Spanish.
