VUDU is a digital content delivery service that works similarly to Netflix or Hulu. Users pay a monthly subscription fee to get unlimited access to VUDU's library of movies and television shows.
VUDU's inventory mostly focuses on newer movies and television series, of which it has a wide variety. As of May 2015, VUDU is owned by Wal-Mart and can be accessed through a Wal-Mart online shopping account, but users can also opt to sign in through Facebook or create an account directly through the VUDU website. Users of the UltraViolet service can also access previously purchased films through VUDU. VUDU users can also convert DVDs and Blu-ray discs to digital files for a fee.
