Where can I find refectory table plans?

The WoodWorkers Institute has free online plans for building an oak refectory table. The Priors have posted a detailed description of how to build an ash refectory table. Refectory tables are essentially very large sturdy dining tables.

Refectory tables were the huge tables used in monasteries and castles. They were originally intended to seat hundreds of people and were built for sturdiness rather than for elegance with thick legs and heavy joinery. Modern refectory tables are usually intended to seat only a dozen or so individuals. Because pieces of furniture this size cannot fit through modern doors, modern refectory tables are usually designed to be easily disassembled for transport.
