To remove dead skin from your feet, soak them in Epsom salt, buff them with an exfoliating scrub, rub them with a pumice stone and moisturize them. This 30-minute process requires a plastic tub, water, Epsom salt, a sugar scrub, a pumice stone, moisturizing cream and a towel.
- Soak your feet
Fill a plastic tub with warm water, and add Epsom salt according to the instructions on the carton. Submerge your feet, and swish them around to dissolve the salts. Leave your feet in the water for 15 minutes.
- Apply a foot scrub
Apply a sugar scrub to your feet, and massage it into your skin. Pay extra attention to your heels and the balls of your feet.
- Rinse your feet
Rinse your feet with warm running water.
- Buff your feet with a pumice stone
Work a pumice stone over the soles of your feet, concentrating on the heels, balls of the feet and the outer edge of the big toes. Rinse the stone and your feet.
- Moisturize your feet
Pat your feet dry with a towel, and apply a thick layer of nourishing moisturizer to your feet, ankles and calves. Rub it in until your feet absorb the product and are dry to the touch.
