The Ruud website has a search tool that allows users to look for certified dealers and contractors within a specified radius. Filters on the Ruud search engine enable searchers to look only for dealers that provide financing and are certified in the use of Ruud's Design Star system.

Design Star is Ruud's virtual design studio allowing customization of air conditioners, heat pumps, furnaces and package units as well as a range of accessories from humidifiers to thermostats. Once a system has been designed, site-specific variables such as local weather patterns, natural gas and utility rates can be entered to simulate operating cost and efficiency.
