Where can you view some samples of anecdotal records?

Two ways to view sample anecdotal records are through the Collegial Centre for Educational Materials Development and the Early Childhood Learning and Knowledge Center’s websites. The two websites break down the practice of keeping a written record of specific students behavior in class and explains why the information is useful.

The CCEMD’s resources include sample anecdotal records, exercises for writing the notes and suggestions for using the information in future lesson plans. The ECLKC has a video sample on its site and PDFs for download, including note cards, observation and interpretation forms and documentation of helpful resources for interested teachers.
