Can you see the International Space Station from Earth?

Due to its relative proximity to the planet, the International Space Station is easily seen from Earth. The station appears as a fast-moving, solid light in the sky and can be seen with the naked eye or with a pair of binoculars.
NASA maintains orbital information on the International Space Station for the public in order to help space watchers catch a glimpse of the station. Viewers can even sign up for text message alerts when the station is due to be overhead. Before dawn and after dusk are optimal times to spot the station because the sun's light reflects off the station's solar panels and makes it much easier to see in the darkness.
