A stockbroker can look up the price of a particular stock on a particular day, or investors can visit The Nasdaq website and find the information there. To access historical data, click on the Quotes tab, and then click on Historical Prices.
The Historical Prices section of the Nasdaz site can be searched for historical data and pricing for desired stocks, including open, high, low and close price data for the specified day and stock. Check the historical price of a stock by entering its stock symbol into the search box, setting the drop-down menu to Historical Quotes and clicking on Go. Up to 25 stock symbols can be searched at once by separating their stock symbols with spaces or commas.
