Can stainless steel rings be resized?

It is not possible to resize stainless steel rings. Tungsten rings also share this problem. Rings made from titanium are possible to size up but not down.

Stainless steel does not easily corrode or rust like other forms of steel, which makes the jewelry almost maintenance-free. This property is due to the 10 percent chromium content that is included during the manufacture of stainless steel. Stainless steel jewelry is safe for almost any skin type because it is hypoallergenic.
