The websites of the Social Security Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention provide statistics related to life expectancy and current age. The Social Security website provides a life expectancy calculator and an actuarial table.

In the United States, a man turning 65 is expected to live to be about 84.3, and a woman turning the same age can expect to live to about 86.6, according to statistics gathered by Social Security. About 25 percent of people turning 65 will live past the age of 90.

The CDC offers statistics on life expectancy by age as well as sex, race and educational level.
