How can you get a student version of MATLAB?

The MATLAB student version can be purchased at the MathWorks official website. As of 2014, MATLAB for students costs $50 when purchased as a stand-alone product and $99 when purchased in a suite with Simulink and ten other products.

Add-on products from MathWorks can also be purchased. Some of the products included in the suite are Control System Toolbox, Data Acquisition Toolbox, Signal Processing Toolbox, Image Processing Toolbox and Instrument Control Toolbox. The MATLAB student version provides tools that professional scientists and engineers use on a daily basis so that students can excel in their courses and build career skills.
