Can students allow their family to use their Amazon Prime membership?

Students enrolled in Amazon Prime cannot share their memberships with other family members. Those with regular Amazon Prime memberships can share their membership with up to four family members or friends.

Customers with Amazon Prime who switch over to Amazon Student can keep their preexisting settings, and family members are still able to take advantage of the free shipping and other benefits. However, students cannot modify these settings after making the switch.

Regular Amazon Prime allows members to share shipping with up to four family members, but those family members cannot take advantage of the Kindle Owners' Lending Library, Prime Music or Prime Instant Video.
