Where can you find a Tim Hortons?

Tim Hortons, a widely recognized coffee and donut shop in Canada, can be found in about 300 locations throughout the United States, as of March 2015. The popular franchise was purchased by Burger King in August of 2014.

The franchise was founded by the famous hockey player, Tim Horton. He played for the Toronto Maple Leafs for 22 years until retiring in 1974. His first coffee-and-donut food franchise opened in 1964. The franchise quickly expanded to offer a variety of products in its Canadian stores. Locations in the United States include stores in Connecticut, Indiana, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Maine, Michigan, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island and West Virginia.
