What can I do with used postage stamps?

Used postage stamps can be collected, donated to charity or used in craft projects. Soaking envelopes in water makes it easier to remove the stamps without damaging them.

Stamp collectors typically prefer new stamps over used ones, and new stamps usually have more value than their identical used counterparts. However, used stamps are perfectly collectible, especially if the cancellation marks are centered and straight, and if they leave most of the images visible.
