Can you watch YouTube on your TV and mobile phone with the right pairing code?

You can connect a phone, netbook or laptop to your TV or games console to watch videos by using a pairing code. The TV must have the YouTube app installed.

The YouTube app must first be running on the TV where the video is to be played. From the Settings menu, the pair device screen can then be loaded. Depending on whether the phone or tablet is Android or iOS, different menus must be navigated to for successfully pairing the devices. On Android, the TV settings can be found under Analytics Settings, whereas on the iOS, they are under Settings. After the correct code is entered, the devices should be paired and the video should be transmitted successfully to the TV.
