1. Shampoo your hair

   After washing, use your fingers instead of a comb or brush to get out tangles so you avoid disturbing your hair's natural pattern of waves and curls.

2. Dry your hair

   Let your hair air dry, if possible, to preserve its natural waves.

3. Apply a hair gel with strong hold
