What can a wine's color tell you?
By Forinfos - 19/06/2025 - 0 comments
Wine color can be an indication of a few different things, from general variety and flavor information to more particular information such as a wine's age or even where it comes from. In general, red wines tend to have more tannins than white or rose wines, meaning that wines of this color tend to be a bit stronger with at least some bitter taste similar to a cup of black tea.
Color variation within each broad category (white or red) of wine can also impart some information, though this may be visible mostly to experienced wine drinkers. White wines tend to darken with age, while red wines tend to become less purple with time.
