The Canada Revenue Agency typically issues goods and services tax credits on the fifth day of each quarter. The agency issued the last 2015 payment on Oct. 5, 2015, and the first two payment dates for 2016 are Jan. 5 and April 3, according to the Canada Revenue Agency.

Individuals signed up for direct deposit can receive payments on the same day of disbursement, while other payment types can take up to 10 days to receive. Individuals who do not receive payments within 10 days of the payment date can call the agency at 800-959-1953 for assistance. Married couples and common-law partners receive a single payment for both individuals, explains the Canada Revenue Agency.
