What is the best cash-back credit card?

As of 2015, the best cash-back credit cards are the Citi Double Cash card, Fidelity Investment Rewards American Express card and Blue Cash Preferred card from American Express, explains Rob Berger for Forbes. Other cards include the Discover it card, Capital One Quicksilver Cash Rewards card and Chase Freedom card.

The Citi Double Cash card pays 1 percent cash back on every purchase and an additional 1 percent as the purchase is paid off, reports Berger. For Fidelity customers, the American Express Investment Rewards card offers 2 percent cash back on every purchase transferred into the customer's Fidelity account. The Blue Cash Preferred card offers 6 percent cash back at U.S. supermarkets; up to $6,000 in purchases per year; 3 percent cash back at U.S. gas stations and certain department stores; and 1 percent back on all other purchases.
