CBS’s Kate Sullivan married Michael Tillman in December 2013 when she was 37 years-old. The couple had their first child, John Michael Tillman, in December 2014. Kate Sullivan is a native of Lakeville, Massachusetts and a graduate of the University of Notre Dame.

Sullivan co-anchors the 5, 6 and 10 p.m. weekday newscasts with Rob Johnson since she joined CBS 2 in 2010 from New York’s WCBS-TV. Kate Sullivan started her journalism career when she joined WSBT-TV as an intern before moving to KATV as a general assignment reporter. In the course of her career, Kate Sullivan has won several awards, including an Emmy Award.
