What are some celebrity faux pas?

Some infamous celebrity faux pas include Mel Gibson's rant about Jews during his 2006 DUI arrest, Julianne Hough wearing blackface to a party in 2013 and Paula Deen using the "N" word. Examples abound on social media, such as Al Roker tweeting during jury duty.

Mel Gibson confronted the police officers who arrested him with a barrage of threats, curse words and anti-Semitic comments. At one point, Gibson asked an officer whether he was a Jew and blamed Jews for all major wars. He later issued a public apology.

Julianne Hough wore blackface as part of a Halloween costume of her favorite Orange Is the New Black character. Paula Deen's faux pas eventually resulted in her being fired from the Food Network.
