Where is the Central California Women's Facility located?

The Central California Women's Facility is located at 23370 Road 22, Chowchilla, California. Chowchilla is in Madera County, northwest of Fresno and southeast of Sacramento.

To reach the Central California Women's Facility from Fresno, take Highway 99 north to the 20 1/2 exit, three miles past the city of Madera. Drive east for three more miles. It is the first prison on the left.

From Sacramento, take Highway 99 south to the Avenue 24 exit. Turn left on Avenue 24 and drive for four miles. on Road 22, turn right, and it is the first prison on the right.

Visiting hours are from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays, New Year's Day, the Fourth of July, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
