How do you change the drill bit in a Black & Decker Pivot Plus?

In order to change a drill bit in a Black & Decker drill, hold the rear part of the chuck and rotate the front part counterclockwise and insert the new bit. To securely tighten the bit into place, hold the chuck in the back and rotate the front in a clockwise direction.

In order to insert the drill bit:

1. Install new drill bit into the drill

Hold the rear part of the drill chuck in one hand and with the other hand, rotate the front half in a counterclockwise direction. Insert the drill bit fully into the chuck.

2. Secure the drill bit

Tighten and secure the bit by holding the rear of the chuck and rotate the front half in a clockwise direction.
