To change instant vanilla pudding into custard, add half-and-half, sour cream and yogurt. Fruits and other flavorings can be added if desired.

It takes approximately 10 minutes to create the custard from the instant pudding.

1. Mix pudding and milk

Mix the one small package of pudding with one cup of half-and-half until it is smooth and begins to thicken.

2. Add other ingredients

After the pudding begins to thicken, add 1 cup of vanilla yogurt and 1 cup of sour cream until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.

3. Cover and refrigerate

After the mixture is smooth, it should be covered and refrigerated for at least 2 hours.
