How do you change a vacuum bag?

Turn off the vacuum and unplug it from the wall socket. Unzip the outer bag and pull the tab to release the collection bag from its connector. Remove the bag with its opening pointed upwards. Ensure the opening of the new bag and that of the hose are aligned.

Collection bags are mounted on the sides of upright cleaners. In canister vacuums they are located on the top. Ensure the new bag is in line with the vacuum line for effective dirt collection. Press the tab to latch the bag and zip the outer bag. Place the used bag into the dustbin.
