An existing Discover Card account can be checked by going to Discover.com and filling out the login information fields to gain access to the account details. Once the account home page is accessed, members can check their balances, available credit lines and recent transactions.

Users can also view past statements, see when their next payments are due and contact support all online. The site is encrypted so that members' personal information stays secure when logging in. Online access to the Account Center is closed on Sundays from 1 a.m. to 6 a.m. Eastern time for site maintenance, and some features may not be available during these hours.
