How do you check your reservation status with Indian Railways?

As of 2015, passenger reservation statuses for Indian Railways are available at IndianRail.gov.in. Once on the Indian Railways homepage, choose the PNR Status menu option. Enter the 10-digit PNR number from the top-left corner of the ticket, and click Get Status.

For the reservation status of tickets bought online, choose the Internet Reservation option on the Indian Railways homepage. A new page opens for the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation, which provides information about online tickets.

Indian Railways also provides schedules for its trains. Choose the Reserved Train Schedule option on the homepage, and enter the train name or number into the search box.
