What is a Chenille plant?
By Forinfos - 16/02/2025 - 0 comments
The chenille plant, also known as red-hot cattail or monkey tail, is an annual with long fuzzy crimson flowers. It is able to grow 8 to 15 feet high outside in the garden or 2 to 3 feet high in containers.
The chenille plant prefers full sun conditions and doesn't perform well in cool temperatures. The fuzzy blooms are always present during its lifespan. Maintenance for the chenille plant includes cutting back the brown tassels, feeding it with fertilizer every other week and keeping an eye on pest problems. Chenille plants are prone to damage from spider mites and white flies.
