Chevy Venture recalls include a 2007 recall for fuel tank replacement in vehicles built from June to August 2002; and another in 2004 to replace interior handles on the power sliding door in vehicles with captain's chairs or second-row bucket seats. As of 2015, the 2007 recall is the latest.

There have been about 15 recalls of Chevrolet Venture minivans since 1996. Other recalls included recalls for improper warning labels for vehicle child safety restraint systems in July 2003 and April 2004, and another for improperly functioning driver's side airbags in February 2003. Chevrolet replaced its Lumina minivan with the Venture, which it produced from 1997 to 2005. Venture featured seven seats as standard equipment. An eight-passenger model with captain's chairs was an option.
