How is Chinese jump rope played?

Chinese jump rope requires at least three people and a long, elastic rope. It can be played along with music. To play, a player jumps to commands given by the other players.

The two rope holders stretch the rope around their ankles to form a circle, which the player stands inside. The player's moves include "in," "out," "side" and "on," but more advanced players may have other tricks as well. To increase the difficulty of the game, the rope can be held higher.

The jumper wins the game by successfully navigating the entire series of moves without tripping over the rope or landing in the incorrect spot. If the jumper makes an error, then another player takes the spot of the jumper.
