What is the Claritin dosage chart?

Once a day, adults and children age 6 and older take one 10 milligram Claritin tablet or 2 teaspoons of liquid Claritin, according to the dosage chart at RxList. The daily dose for children from 2 to 5 years old is 1 teaspoon of liquid Claritin.
If children or adults have liver disease or kidney problems, the stated dosage of Claritin is taken every other day, RxList says. The liver is involved in processing the drug, and the kidneys excrete any waste product, explains Drugs.com. If these organs are impaired, they do not handle Claritin properly, causing the drug to build up in the body.
