To clean fiberglass shower stalls, treat them with undiluted vinegar or nonabrasive cleaners, rub a baking soda paste into problem areas, and scrub down the stalls. You need undiluted vinegar or nonabrasive cleaners, a spray bottle, a container, baking soda, water, a rag and a towel.
- Prepare the vinegar
Pour undiluted vinegar in an empty spray bottle.
- Spray the stalls with the vinegar
Thoroughly spray the fiberglass stalls with the vinegar solution. You can use other cleaners as long as they are nonabrasive. Allow the vinegar or cleaners to soak into the walls for several minutes. This allows the solutions to dislodge any soap scum or water spots.
- Wipe down the walls
Use a clean cloth to wipe down the stalls and remove any remaining vinegar.
- Make a baking soda paste
Make a baking soda paste to remove any stubborn water spots or problem areas. In a container, add 1 part water and 2 parts baking soda. Mix the two together until a paste forms.
- Apply the paste
Dip a cloth into the paste, and rub it over any remaining water spots.
- Rinse off the paste
Rinse the walls with warm water until all the paste is removed.
- Dry the fiberglass stalls
Wipe the stalls dry with a clean towel.
