To clean a pair of leather Timberland boots, use a leather brush to gently wipe away excess dirt before wiping each boot with a leather cleaner. Use a soft cloth, mink oil and waterproofing spray for conditioning.
- Clean each boot
Use a soft-bristled leather brush to remove any excess dust and dirt from each boot, wiping as gently as possible. Use a soft cloth with warm water if any dirt remains. Finish the cleaning process with a leather cleaner and cloth. Wipe the cleaner across the entire leather surface of each boot.
- Condition each boot
Allow the boots to dry before you condition them. Use a soft cloth to apply mink conditioning oil across the surface of each boot. Apply a generous amount of the oil around the seams of each boot. Use a clean cloth to wipe away excess oil. Polish each boot with the same cloth, applying wide strokes in a circular motion.
- Waterproof each boot
Spray the entire leather surface and sole of each boot with a waterproofing spray, and allow each boot to dry for a minimum of 4 hours. Apply a second coat, and allow each boot to dry for a minimum of 24 hours before wearing.
