How do you clean microsuede?

Spot-clean microsuede by brushing away loose soil, blotting excess liquid and dabbing the stain with a cleaning solution. Microsuede throws and furniture covers can also be machine-washed.

1. Remove loose dirt

   Use a soft brush to remove loose and dried-on soil.

2. Absorb liquid

   For a fresh stain, use a white cloth or paper towel to absorb as much liquid as possible. Blot the stain rather than rubbing it.

3. Clean the stain

   Moisten a fresh cloth or paper towel with a solution of water and dishwashing liquid. Dab the stain with the cleaning solution, and use dry parts of the cloth to blot excess moisture. Let the item air dry.

4. Launder washable microsuede

   Wash microsuede using cold water and the washer's gentle cycle. Avoid bleach. Line dry the item.
