How do you clean oven glass?

To clean oven glass, make a baking soda paste, apply the paste to the glass, allow the paste to soak the surface, wash away the paste, then buff the glass with a paper towel. You need a container, baking soda, water, a sponge, a towel and paper towels for this 20-minute process.

1. Make a baking soda paste

   Measure 1/4 cup of baking soda in a container. Mix in enough water to form a thick paste. Add more water for a thinner paste or less for a thicker paste.

2. Apply the paste

   Open the oven door so that the glass is horizontal. Use the sponge to spread the paste in a thick layer over the glass.

3. Allow the paste to sit

   Allow the paste to sit on the glass for at least 20 minutes. For thick grease or stubborn stains, leave the paste on the glass overnight.

4. Wipe away the paste

   Dip a sponge in water, and wipe away the baking soda paste. Scrub as necessary. Rinse out the sponge, and repeat the process until you have removed all of the paste.

5. Buff the glass

   Dry the glass with a regular towel, then buff it with a paper towel until it is clean.
