How do you clear an Internet cache?

To clear an Internet cache in Firefox, go to the Network tab in the Preferences menu, then click Clear Now. Although browsers go by different names, this method works for commonly used browsers.

1. Find the Preferences menu

   Click on the Menu button represented by three horizontal lines in the upper right corner of the browser window. Click on Preferences.

2. Find the Network tab

   Click the Advanced icon, then click on the Network tab.

3. Clear the cache

   Click the Clear Now button in the Cached Web Content section. Click the check box next to Override Automatic Cache Management to limit the amount of disk space the cache takes.
