What climate do lions live in?

Lions live in a hot climate and are found in the Africa savanna regions where there are distinct wet and dry seasons. The savannas mainly consist of grasslands and dense scrub where lions find the most prey, and where they are able to get as close as possible when hunting.

According to Blue Planet Biomes, temperatures in a savanna climate range from 68 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit, while summers are wet and winters are dry. When the rains fall, herds of prey animals abound as they feed on the lush grasslands and water at the many waterholes and rivers. During dry times, the lions feed on prey that is weak from lack of food and water.
