While each degree holds a slightly different dress code, the standard member of the Knights of Columbus wears a tuxedo with cummerbund and a social baldric sash along with his pin denoting degree earned. The regalia dress features a plumed chapeau and cape along with a sword.

Any item of clothing apparel can be Knights of Columbus apparel if it embroidered with the official emblem. Officers of the Knights of Columbus wear ceremonial robes along with a mantle and cincture. Regalia includes a cape, a black chapeau with plumage, a sword, a baldric and white gloves. Medals and jewels are displayed on the breast pocket.
